The Project consists of the replacement of approximately 419 LF of 8-inch and 309 LF 10- inch diameter sanitary sewer mains and associated appurtenances, including the completion of 12 spot repairs; replacement of 2 manholes; rehabilitation of approximately 6,785 LF of 8-inch and 2,273 LF 10-inch diameter sanitary sewer main; rehabilitation of 47 manholes; bypass pumping, associated demolition work; surface restoration; and all other work identified in the Contract Documents. Separate Bids will be received for Contracts No.1 B2-1, Sanitary Sewer Replacement and Spot Repairs, and Contract No. B2-2, Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation . All Bidders must submit a bid security in the amount of 10% of the lump sum base bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the successful bid amount. Contract No. B2-2: Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation generally includes but is not limited to the rehabilitation of approximately 6,785 LF of 8-inch and 2,273 LF of 10-inch diameter sanitary sewer main; rehabilitation of 49 manholes; associated demolition work;surface restoration; and all other work identified in the Contract Documents.
