The Hopkins County Fiscal Court is soliciting bids for Phase 1 Construction of the new Hopkins County Sheriff's Office. The Phase 1 project will consist of excavation, engineered fill, subsurface drainage installation, subgrade stone placement, water line installation, sediment control, and reseeding Proposals must be accompanied by a five percent (5%) Bid Bond. No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the Owner with a 100% Performance and Material Payment Bond. The Owner may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions hereof and may waive any informalities or reject any and all bids. Center St, Madisonville, Kentucky 42431. To be given consideration, questions must be received by 10 a.m. 4 calendar days before the bid opening date. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the specifications which, if issued, will be sent by facsimile. Conformation of receipt is required. Failure of any bidder to receive any such addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such bidder from any obligation under his/her bid as submitted. All addenda so issued shall become part of the contract documents. No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other PreBid documents will be made to a bidder orally.
