The City of Kirksville will accept sealed bids for 2024 Concrete Construction and Repairs. Scope- Removal & Disposal of Approximately 30,000 square feet of existing Improvements; Installation of 2400 linear feet of 2' wide Residential Curb & Gutter; 3900 linear feet of 2' wide City Curb & Gutter; 21,900 Square feet of 6" thick Type 5 base; 15,400 square feet of 8" thick concrete pavement; 21,900 square feet of 6" thick concrete pavement, 650 Square Feet of 4" PCC sidewalk, 950 Square Feet of ADA sidewalk Ramps, additional associated work, fertilizing, seeding, and mulching and related surface restoration as shown on the Plans. Although there are multiple bid items, the bid will be awarded based on the best value to the City. The City reserves the right to refuse any bid for any reason. Past performance will be considered in the selection process. No bidder may withdraw bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the day of opening bids. All wages paid for work under this contract shall comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law of the State of Missouri.
