Renovation of a military facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is for the following: 1. Publish the following attachments/documents. a) Pre-bid sign in sheet; b) Specs 14210 dated 20APR2024; c) Specs 14230 dated 29APR2024; d) Specs 14220 dated 29APR2024; e) Specs 14240 dated 29APR2024; f) RFI responses dated 08MAY2024; g) updated solicitation document dated 13MAY2024. 2. Extend the solicitation close date. Solicitation close date is extended to 22MAY2024 by 4:00 PM CDT. No other changes. Please ensure you sign and submit this Amendment 0001 included in your proposal packet. The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Greater Southwest Region 7, Acquisition Management Division, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the modernization of 2 existing passenger elevators, and 1 Service elevator at the Russell B. Long Federal Building (LA0097BT); 777 Florida Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70801. This project will include 2 Options for the following: Option 1: Modernization of 2 additional US Judge's elevators, and Option 2: Modernization of 2 US Marshall's elevators. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The estimated construction cost magnitude for all work under this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238290 Other Building Equipment, with a size standard of $22 Million. All responsible, qualified firms are encouraged to submit a proposal. The source selection process and criteria will be based on the Best Value trade-off methodology. A site visit will be conducted on April 24, 2024, at 10:30 AM CDT (Local Time). Details pertaining to the site visit are enclosed in the solicitation. Note: This will be the only site visit scheduled. No additional site visits will be scheduled. Interested firms are encouraged to attend the site visit. The solicitation closing date will be May 20, 2024, at 4:00 PM CDT (local time). The solicitation and all other information, amendments and questions concerning the forthcoming solicitation will be electronically posted at the following web page: https://sam.gov/ (Contract Opportunities). No telephone requests for documents will be accepted. This solicitation is not a sealed bid and there will not be a formal public bid opening. All questions/inquiries or requests for clarifications must be in writing, preferable via email to the persons specified in the solicitation. All answers will be provided in writing and will be posted as an amendment to the solicitation posting. Interested firms must be registered and have completed their online representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM). Firms can register via the Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ or by contacting the SAM Service Desk at https://www.fsd.gov/gsafsd_sp. The General Services Administration (GSA), Region 7, has a construction project for the modernization of 2 existing passenger elevators and 1 service elevator at the Russell B. Long Federal Building, 777 Florida Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70801. This contract includes options to include additional elevator modernizations in this same building. The options are as follow: Option 1: Modernization of 2 Judges elevators (Specifications 14220). Option 2: Modernization of 2 Marshal's elevators (Specifications 14240)
