Renovation of a mixed-use development in Clifton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Rooftop Unit Replacements at School #17. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening of the bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond from a surety company licensed to do business in New Jersey, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid submitted, but not in excess of $20,000.00, made payable to the Clifton Board of Education. The Clifton Board of Education reserves the right to reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22, those deemed to be non-responsive, and those bids submitted by bidders deemed not to be responsible under the Public School Contracts Law. The Clifton Board of Education may also waive minor informalities in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements in accordance with applicable law. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Clifton Board of Education.
