Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Clifton, New Jersey. Design plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of October 1, 2025, a design firm has been selected for the project. Design has not been approved as of yet. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Nash Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Clifton. The park was originally constructed in the late 1920s and over the past 10 decades it has gone through many changes and modifications. In its current configuration, it has 2 playgrounds, 2 basketball courts, a dog area, a rose garden, a parking lot, a softball field, an adult baseball field, and open space. This busy park is used for many activities and sports competitions throughout the year. This project will not only bring a new feature, the first City-run splash pad, but include upgrades and modifications to the existing playgrounds, basketball courts, rose garden, public restrooms, and dog park while providing ADA-compliant access to site amenities as well as aesthetic landscaping. Any questions, which in the opinion of the City warrant a return reply or an amendment to the RFP, will be furnishedto all parties not less than seven (7) business days prior to receipt of Proposals. The City of Clifton reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, to waive any curable irregularities or technicalities and to award a contract to the Respondent whose response is most advantageous, price and other factors considered to the City of Clifton.
