**As of May 28, 2024, project was awarded to Omni Communications LLC but awarded amount is not available.** Outside Plant Construction and Repair PBA is seeking a contractor(s) for the provision of outside plant construction and repair services for specified PBA-managed projects including, but not limited to, aerial fiber installation, underground fiber installation, directional boring, fiber splicing, handhole installation, asphalt and concrete restoration, traffic control, and other services required by PBA. Contractors can submit proposals for a portion of the pricing, or all pricing defined in the scope of work based on capabilities and licensing. All PBA managed properties are in Knox County. PBA encourages the meaningful participation of minority-owned businesses. It is the intent of PBA to maintain a minimum procurement goal of 10% participation from minority-owned, women-owned, small businesses, and/or diverse businesses. PBA reserves the right to waive minor informalities or technicalities when it is in the best interest of PBA. The successful Contractor(s) may be required to submit a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond (each equal to 100% of the job cost) when any one project exceeds $100,000 in value. The Bonds will be returned upon the successful and satisfactory completion of the project.
