Construction of Variable Thickness Asphalthic Concrete Pavement, Pavement Grinding, Plastic Pavement Marking, Manhole\inlet Adjustments, Cuc Adjustments, Etc.; Located at: Official Notice No. 29-1-2024 High Impact Paving - St216240107 The "High Impact" Asphalt Paving Project Locations Are as Follows: North 107th Street - West Good Hope Road to West Bradley Road North 115th Street - West Florist Avenue to a Point N/o West Kaul Avenue Time for Completion: All Other Work on Other Projects Shall Be Complete by August 16, 2024. No Work in the Public Right-of-way Will Be Permitted to Occur During the Republican National Convention (Rnc) From July 14, 2024 Through July 20, 2024. All Excavations Must Be Temporarily Restored or Covered With a Steel Plate to Allow Through Traffic or Ada Compliant Pedestrian Access (Permits Could Be Denied Based on Coordination With the Secret Service Prior to July 14, 2024). Liquidated Damages, Per Diem: $1000.00/day The Residency Requirement for This Project is 40% of All Hours Worked on the Project. One Quarter of These Hours Must Be Attributable to Residents Living in the Following Zip Codes: 53204, 53205, 53206, 53208, 53210, 53215, and 53233. The Sbe Requirement for This Project is 15% of the Contract Base Bid. the Sbe Compliance Plan (Form a) Must Be Submitted With the Bid and is an Element of Bid Responsiveness. Sbe Certificates Must Be Submitted With the Form a. Incomplete Sbe Compliance Plans (Form a) or Inaccurate Sbe Compliance Plans Will Not Be Accepted and Will Render the Bid Unresponsive. If the Forms Are Not Filled Out Properly, It Will Be Cause for Rejection of the Bid. All Contractors Awarded a Contract Valued at $25,000.00 or More Are Required to Participate in Training on the City of Milwaukee's B2gnow Contract Compliance Software Within 30 Days of the Contract Award Date. Throughout the Contract Term, Contractors Are Required to Regularly Provide Timely Subcontractor Payment Information in the City's Contract Compliance Software.
