Each Bidder for the Installation of Portable Restroom and ADA Site Work at Evergreen Elementary School, shall be a licensed General Contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code, must possess a valid Class B License or equivalent at the time of bid and throughout the duration of this Contract. The Contractor's California State License number shall be clearly stated on the bidder's proposal. The successful bidders must be registered with the State Department of Industrial Relations and have the appropriate, current California contractor's license, as indicated above, for the scope included in the bid, prior to submitting a bid. The successful bidder shall commence work with the issuance of the Notice to Proceed and complete all work within the time period and milestones from the official start date as illustrated in the Bidding Documents. The East Whittier City SD has established a liquidated damage rate of $2,000 per calendar day for each and every calendar day that the work remains uncompleted or unaccepted by the District.
