Elementary School Asphalt Replacement. Contractor commences Work: May 15, 2024 , Contractor completes Work: December 31, 2024 A copy of the applicable rates of Prevailing Wages will be on file and available for review at the Place for Submitting Bids, and a copy will be posted at the Project Site. The Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. The successful bidder will be required to post all job-site notices required by DIR regulations and other applicable law. If so specified in the Special Provisions, the District will conduct a mandatory conference for the purpose of describing labor-law requirements. SCOPE OF WORK I. SCOPE OF WORK: a. The asphalt is a replacement of the existing asphalt surface. Construction includes but is not necessarily limited to grinding or removal of existing asphalt concrete pavement, stockpile of existing aggregate base materials, asphalt surfacing materials, placement of aggregate base and asphalt concrete, seal coat of all asphalt surfaces, crack repair and pavement markings. b. Contractor shall provide the removal of existing soil, regrading and replacement of asphalt concrete paving. c. All native ground with no subgrade needs to be graded to 4" and add subgrade material, seal coat and restripe all lines and symbols (as applicable) including, among others, ADA markings. i. Contractor shall provide temporary stripping between the installation of new asphalt and the final seal coat. ii. Contractor shall repaint and match all existing markings and parking stalls. conference initially will commence at Trapp Elementary School located at 2750 Riverside Ave, Rialto, CA 92377. Potential bidders shall meet in front of the administration building. Attendance at the pre-bid conference and site visit is mandatory, and any bidder that does not attend shall be deemed non-responsive. The District shall reject any withdrawal and superseding bid that is not received by the District prior to the Bid Deadline. The Estimate for this Project is 1 million to 1.5 million.
