Renovation of a water / sewer project in San Marcos, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Reference Number 0000347870 Scope of Project: Includes but is not limited to upgrades to the Comanche Pump Station to increase the overall firm capacity from 1,800gpm to 3,500gpm by replacing four (4) existing pumps. The improvements will include modifications to the discharge piping, replacement of electrical and instrumentation equipment, weatherization improvements and replacement of existing generator with a larger unit. The estimated annual construction cost is $2,047,300. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted. Questions must be submitted in writing to the City of San Marcos Purchasing and Contracting Division only at rshelton@sanmarcostx.gov. Please reference the solicitation number when corresponding. Award is scheduled for the July 2, 2024, City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
