Replace an existing bridge on County Road 222 with a double barrel Precast Concrete Box Culvert. It is located in Cape Girardeau County approximately 2 miles off Missouri Hwy. Z. The County reserves the right to select and award the bid item or items that best suit its needs and reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or waive informalities or irregularities. PROJECT: Cape Girardeau County is planning to replace an existing bridge on County Road 222 with a double barrel Precast Concrete Box Culvert. It is located in Cape Girardeau County approximately 2 miles off Missouri Hwy. Z Specifications are available online, or, at the Office of the Cape Girardeau County Commission, 1 Barton Square, Suite 301, Jackson, MO 63755. Requests may be made by phone (573)204-2494 or Email: klnitsch@capecounty.us PROPOSED WORK INCLUDES: Precast box culvert shall be 10 'wide x 10’high (inside dimensions) x 44’ long structure, (no toe walls, headwalls or wings). There will be 2 parallel straight runs of 6 boxes in each run with a total of 12 box sections. Bid shall include 8 each mechanical joint connectors (4 each at the first and last joint) Price shall include mastic for all joints. Max. 44,000 pounds per section.
