Cornelius Road Park Materials Testing and Special Inspections. The project may require geotechnical and soil exploration, concrete unit testing, concrete compressive testing, concrete coring and sampling, masonry construction and observation testing, structural and steel observation, and testing. Initial Geotech was performed on parking and field portions of the project but did not include the wet pond or turn lane locations. Construction is anticipated to begin June 3, 2024 with a 400 day construction timeline. Services may be required throughout the project. Services are being solicited for upcoming construction activity at Cornelius Road Park located at 247 Cornelius Rd., Mooresville, NC 28117. The project may require geotechnical and soil exploration, concrete unit testing, concrete compressive testing, concrete coring and sampling, masonry construction and observation testing, structural and steel observation, and testing. Initial Geotech was performed on parking and field portions of the project but did not include the wet pond or turn lane locations. Submissions should provide experience with similar work, past projects, references from project managers, geographic location, and ability to respond to this RFQ. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
