Site work for a water / sewer project in Turner, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Scope of Work Includes Furnishing and Installing Approximately 899 Feet of 15-inch Hdpe N-12 Storm Drain, 131 Feet of 10-inch Hdpe N-12 Storm Drain, 213 Feet Of 18 and 10-inch Ductile Iron Storm Drain, Manholes, Catch Basins, an Outfall to Mill Creek, Temporary Surface Restoration and Maintenance, Permanent Surface Restoration, Traffic Control, Erosion Control and Other Work as Shown in the Construction Drawings and Contract Documents. Construction is Anticipated to Begin on or After July 8, 2024, Depending on Material Availability and Other Factors. The Work is Summarized as Follows: This is a City of Turner Public Works Project. The Engineer's Estimate for the Project is $560,000. The Construction Shall Be Substantially Completed Within 90 Calendar Days, With Punch List and Final Completion Within 104 Calendar Days, From Notice To Proceed. Basis of Award: the Contract Shall Be Awarded Based on the Lowest Bid Received From a Responsive And Responsible Bidder. Award is Expected at the Next City Council Meeting (Normally on the Second and Fourth Thursday of Each Month Night, Except on Holidays) Following the Bid Date. However, the City Reserves the Right To Postpone Award Until the First or Second Council Meeting After the Expected Award Date, to Reject Any Bid Not in Conformance With All Prescribed Public Bidding Procedures and Requirements, and to Reject, for Good Cause, Any or All Bids Upon a Finding by the City That It is in the Public Interest to Do So. The Contract is Subject to Ors 279c.800 to 279c.870 (Pertaining to Prevailing Wages) and No Bid Will Be Received or Considered Unless the Bid Contains a Statement by the Bidder That They Will Comply With Ors 279c.840. No Bid for a Construction Contract Shall Be Received or Considered by the City of Turner Unless the Bidder is Registered With The Construction Contractors Board. Bidders Must Be Listed on the Engineer's Plan Holders List for Their Bid to Be Considered. Accepted substitutes will be listed in addenda mailed or delivered to each person or firm recorded by the City Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents and will be available for inspection at the Turner office, 5255 Chicago Street SE, Turner, OR 97392, Phone: 503-743- 2155, between the hours of 8:30-am to 5:00-pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30-am to 12:30-pm Fridays
