Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of April 17, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project consists of line painting various roadways in the Township per current PennDOT Pub. 408, and as described in the Project Specifications. No Pre-Bid Meeting will be held for this project. All Bidders must be qualified as Prime Contractors and be prequalified in the specific PennDOT Work Class Codes constituting at least 50% of the project. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the project name on the outside. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of 5% made payable to the municipality as a proposal guarantee, which, it is understood, will be forfeited in case the contractor fails to comply with the requirement of the proposal. Upper Mount Bethel Township reserves the right to reject all bids and waive any bidding informalities. All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents are to be submitted via email to the ENGINEER at fgeorges@carrollengineering.com by or before 4:00 PM
