As of April 17, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project consists of placing Double Bituminous Seal Coat using a Polymer Modified Emulsion, CRS2PM (E-3M) or RS-2PM (E-2M), and #8 Stone with a 1.0% Loss by Wash Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of 5% made payable to the municipality as a proposal guarantee, which, it is understood, will be forfeited in case the contractor fails to comply with the requirement of the proposal. Bidders need to be prequalified by PennDOT All Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified as a Prime Contractor and be prequalified in the specific PennDOT Work Class Codes that constitute at least 50% of the project. Upper Mount Bethel Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities. All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents are to be submitted via email to the ENGINEER at fgeorges@carrollengineering.com by or before 4:00 PM one (1) week prior to the “Bids Due” date listed in the Advertisement.
