Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of 5% made payable to the municipality as a proposal guarantee which; it is understood, will be forfeited in case the contractor fails to comply with the requirement of the proposal. All Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified as a Prime Contractor and be prequalified in the specific PennDOT Work Class Codes that constitute at least 50% of the project. The project will be constructed in conformance with Penn DOT Publication 408 (latest edition) and the project Technical Provisions.\\ NO Pre-Bid Meeting will be held for this project. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. Upper Mount Bethel Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities. EDWARD NELSON TOWNSHIP MANAGER UPPER MOUNT BETHEL TOWNSHIP The project consists of the placing Double Bituminous Seal Coat using a Polymer Modified Emulsion, CRS-2PM (E-3M) or RS-2PM (E-2M) and #8 Stone with a 1.0% Loss by Wash. All material to be complete-in-place in conformance with PennDOT Pub. 408, Sections 470 and 482. Bidders need to be prequalified by PennDOT (Sec. 102.01).
