The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority (hereinafter referred to as ONWASA) requests proposals for the dredging, transportation, and disposal of accumulated water treatment plant solids. Work will be performed at ONWASAs Dixon WTP, 6661 Wilmington Hwy, Holly Ridge, NC 28445, and Hubert WTP, 374 Hubert Blvd, Hubert, NC 28539. The successful proposer (hereinafter referred to as Contractor) shall furnish all permits, materials, equipment, and labor necessary for performing all work associated with dredging, dewatering, transporting, and proper disposal of solids from the settling lagoons (hereinafter referred to as WTP). Work is to begin within thirty (30) calendar days after receiving written Notice to Proceed from ONWASA, and all work on this project shall be completed within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days of the issuance of the Contract. Performance and Payment Bonds are required for this Project. ONWASA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to accept any proposal which, in the opinion of ONWASA, appears to be in its best interest. The right is reserved to hold any or all proposals for ninety (90) days from the opening thereof. Due to the restricted time frame for the projects completion, work is to begin within thirty (30) calendar days after receiving a written Notice to Proceed from ONWASA, and all work on the project shall be completed within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days.
