The intent of these Services is to award more than one (1) Successful Proposer under a task-order contract to provide food waste collection and transportation services within the Jurisdiction. SWACO-sponsored food waste drop-off locations are being made available to the public in an effort to make composting services more affordable and easily accessible to communities and other Political Subdivisions within the Jurisdiction that may opt in, pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code section 9.48, to any contract for food waste collection and transportation services awarded to a Successful Proposer(s). June 2024 Nothing herein shall be interpreted to interfere with any existing food waste collection and transportation service contract of a Political Subdivision. Throughout this RFQ, any reference to the provision of Food Waste Collection Services to SWACO or Food Waste Collection Services generated by SWACO shall also mean the provision of services to a Political Subdivision that has opted into the contract for those services. SWACO reserves the right to reject any and all SOQs and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in the selection process. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
