The scope of work includes furnishing and installing 8" PVC gravity sewer lines with 48" manholes and 4" service lines. The scope also includes a duplex grinder station and 3" force main. Other items of work include the usual appurtenances for borings, surface reconstruction, service line connections, duplex grinder station installation, and combination sewage air release valves. Approximate estimated quantities of pipe are as follows. (1082'-8" PVC Gravity Sewer, 15'-8" DIP Gravity Sewer, 2545'-4" PVC Service Lines, 2744'-3" PVC Pressure Main, 4-48" Manholes). Each bidder must deposit with this bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Simultaneously with his delivery of the executed contract, the Contractor shall furnish surety bonds subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All applicable laws, ordinances and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the contract throughout. Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting the site and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Contract Documents. The failure or omission of any Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation in respect to this Bid.
