In general, Scope of Work includes: o Spring Clean-up o Weekly Mowing o Monthly Mulch Bed Maintenance o Plant Flowers in the Flower Pots o Fall Clean-up o Aerate/Over seed The contractor agrees that, if he is awarded the contract, he must furnish a payment bond of a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the commonwealth and satisfactory to the awarding authority in the sum of fifty percent of the contract price if the contract is greater than $25,000, The contractor agrees that, if he is awarded the contract, he must furnish a payment bond of a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the commonwealth and satisfactory to the awarding authority in the sum of fifty percent of the contract price if the contract is greater than $25,000, the premiums for which are to be paid by the contractor and are to be included in the contract price; provided, however, that if there is more than 1 surety company, the surety companies shall be jointly and severally liable. Statutory Workers Compensation in the state of Massachusetts including Employers Liability at minimum limits of $500,000/$500,000/$500,000 (If organization has employees). Excess "Umbrella" Liability at a minimum limit of $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit for Bodily Injury and Property Damage. A certified copy of each policy or certificates of all insurance required herein shall be provided to Middlesex Community College with the execution of the Contract. Automobile Liability with coverage for owned, hired and non-owned vehicles at a minimum limit of $1,000,000 C.S.L. for Bodily Injury and Property Damage (If organization owns
vehicles).

Anticipated Contract Award - Friday, April 19, 2024 Anticipated Contract Start Date - Monday, April 22, 2024 The Commonwealth has set the following goals for workforce participation for minorities and women. The participation goals for this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women.
