Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sunrise, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project proposes to develop a 1.85 acre parcel located on the northwest corner of the Hiatus Road and NW 29th Manor into a passive park. Given its proximity to the Hiatus Greenway, the new park would provide a rest area for cyclists, walkers, and joggers using the trail. Initially, the park would be cleared of existing invasive and exotic landscaping material. The new park would provide open space with amenities that include a concrete walkway, benches and tables, trash and recycling receptacles, solar lighting, bicycle racks, a bicycle repair station, native landscaping, and irrigation. The project is include in the city's 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
