Site work for a day care center in Springfield, New Jersey. Working plans call for site work for a day care center.

As of 2/6/25 all bids rejected. A timeline for the rebid has not yet been established. Walton Early Childhood Center – Bid No. 2024-02 have been rejected, as they all have exceeded the budget for the project. The Springfield Schools Board of Education has authorized negotiations with contractors pursuant to NJSA 18A:18A-5. If you would like to resubmit an updated lump sum bid price you must do so by February 18, 2025, as the next Board meeting is February 24, 2025. Currently, the scope of work has not changed from the rebid set dated 2024-12-20. Please note that the rebid scope of work removed sod and instead calls for topsoil & seeding. Courtyard Improvements at Edward V. Walton Early Childhood Center Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Springfield Board of Education, for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid, however, not to exceed $20,000.00. The last day for all questions shall be Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Addenda will be issued no later than Friday, January 10, 2025. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18, 18A:18A-2(s), (t), (x), (y), 18A:18A-4(a-c), 18A:18A-22, and to waive any informalities.
