The work generally consists of installation of drainage improvements that includes new inlets and approximately 288 linear feet of new storm pipe, approximately 600 linear feet of replacement curb, replacement sidewalk at miscellaneous locations, installation of ADA compliant ramps, approximately 8,563 square yards of pavement milling and installation of approximately 1,030 tons of hot mix asphalt overlay, tree removal, pavement markings, and regulatory and warning signage; Bidders are notified that they must comply with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, as amended) and that award will not be made to any bidder whom the Commissioner of Labor and Industry does not certify. Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided, in the manner designated therein and required by the Specifications. They must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Municipal Clerk, TOWNSHIP OF SPRINGFIELD, UNION COUNTY, NEW JERSEY, and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the form provided of not less than 10% of the amount of bid.
