Site work for a water / sewer project in Orlando, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work performed shall consist of repair and/or restore storm water lines, including installation of a Resin Impregnated Cured In Place Pipe (RICIPP) lining including site preparation, clean up and hauling off unsuitable materials. The Estimated Cost for this project is $13,234,574.25 A Bid, Payment and Performance Bond are a requirement when the offer/contract amount exceeds $100,000. Respondents shall attach an electronic copy of their bid bond for responsiveness. Submission of the bid bond, along with a certified and effectively dated copy of the power of attorney, shall be completed and signed by all required parties and submitted on the form provided in the solicitation. Submittal of a bid bond less than 10% of the total estimated contract amount for base period, shall result in the bid being deemed non-responsive Question Deadline 04/17/2024 at 5:00 PM ET The question and answer module of Procure Now Open Gov IS being utilized for this solicitation. Timely questions concerning this solicitation shall be submitted in accordance with the deadline for questions Respondents are instructed not to contact the initiating division directly The County, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any informality concerning Bid Proposals whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of the County. The Contract resulting from this solicitation shall commence effective upon execution by both parties and extend for a period of twelve (12) months. The contract may be renewed for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods, totaling thirty-six (36) months. Submittal of a Certified Check, or a Cashier's Check in an amount less than ten (10%) percent shall result in rejection of the Proposal. Certified checks or cashier's checks shall be drawn on a solvent bank or trust company to the order of the Board of County Commissioners, Orange County, Florida and shall have all necessary documentary revenue stamps attached, if required by law. Personal checks shall not be accepted and shall result in rejection of the Proposal. Should the Contractor fail to complete work within the time(s) specified in the Delivery Order, or within such additional time(s) as may be granted by Orange County, the County shall suffer damage, the amount of which is difficult, if not impossible to ascertain. Therefore, the Contractor shall pay to the County, as liquidated damages, the sum of $200.00 for each calendar day of delay that actual completion extends beyond the time limit specified until such reasonable time as may be required for final completion of the work. Such sum is mutually agreed upon as a reasonable and proper amount of damages the County shall sustain per diem by failure of the Contractor to complete the services or make delivery within the specified time.
