Site work for a mixed-use development in Edenton, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and playground / park / athletic field.
The construction work will consist of the following approximate major quantities: Rehabilitate asphalt surface and install SBR Synthetic Surface on track facilities at South Davidson Senior High School. M/WBE requirements will be discussed. The project area will be available for inspection by prospective bidders following the Pre-Bid Conference. The Engineer will be available to discuss the project and` answer pertinent questions. Except as noted in the "Special Conditions" section of the Specifications, it is understood that this Contract may be increased in an amount equal to fifty percent of the total Contract as the Davidson County Board of Education may option. It is further understood that any increases made may be in the total amount and each Bid item need not be increased in the same amount. The Davidson County Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. The Owner also reserves the right to increase or diminish the quantities or items given in the Proposal and to award Contracts, which appear to be in the best interest of the Board of Education.
