Project Summary: New Garden Park, Inc. (NGP) is seeking proposals to conduct remediation, abatement and demolition activities on a portion of the former Saint-Gobain Campus. The abatement, demolition and remediation activities are specifically scheduled for the 400 Series Buildings, consisting of eleven (11) interconnected buildings and a single structure that total approximately 321,000 square feet. The work covered under this RFP is described in the attached Scope of Work. Location of Project: The work described herein will be conducted primarily at 1 New Bond Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. General Requirements: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, facilities, equipment, services, employee training and personnel testing, permits and agreements necessary to perform the work required for the removal of regulated materials, asbestos and PCB containing materials in accordance with this scope of work, the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), including the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) regulations; Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations; National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) regulations: National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) recommendations; Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) requirements; Massachusetts Department of Labor and Workforce Development (DLWD) regulations; Davis Bacon federal wages and any other applicable Federal, State and Local government regulations and guidelines. Any products that will be installed permanently at the site must comply with the Build America Buy America Act. Refer to the General Term & Conditions for Buy America Sourcing requirements under the Build America, Buy America (BABA) provisions of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA; also known as Bipartisan Infrastructure Law or BIL) (P.L. 117-58,70911-70917).
