Estimate: $2,200,000.00 The project consists of removal and disposal of existing asphalt, de-vegetation along the roadway edges, subgrade repair and recompaction, and asphalt overlay of approximately 6.9 miles of 2-lane levee roadway. The north levee road is approximately 3.61 miles from SH 146 to the Moses Lake Tide Gate and the south levee road is approximately 3.29 miles from Lake Road to SH 197. The deadline to ask questions is 4/22/2024 5:00 PM CST Sealed bids in sets of three (3), one (1) unbound original and two (2) copies, will be received in the office of the Galveston County Purchasing Agent All bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope: ITB #B241017, Texas City Hurricane Levee Roadway Rehabilitation No bond is required with this Invitation to Bid. The Galveston County Commissioners' Court reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid or bids which, in its opinion, is most advantageous to Galveston County with total respect to the governing laws.
