Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Albion, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The estimate is $900k. New parking lot, HMA trail, concrete sidewalk, site furnishings, lighting, fire hydrant replacement, landscaping and various appurtenances. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The use of local contractors and labor is encouraged.
