Close Date & Time 4/16/2024 02:00:00 PM (ET) Provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary to complete seed mixing and storage per pound of pure live seed (PLS). Delivery of this seed will be required within 48 hours of notification from the Iowa Department of Transportation to the locations listed on the Lines Tab of this bid. Separate purchase orders will be created for each project. Spreadsheet listing quantities and species will be attached to purchase orders. Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. One contract will be awarded for all items. All items are tied. Contract Period See Bid delivery between May 3 and May 31, 2024. The date of completion shall be stated in calendar days on the Bidders Bid Response, and if necessary, adjusted by agreement between the Iowa DOT and successful bidder prior to executing the contract documents. The Iowa DOT realizes that deliveries and site conditions have a definite bearing on the completion date. The Iowa DOT will demand diligence in the prosecution of the work, but with good cause and satisfactory past performance by the Contractor, the Iowa DOT may revise the completion date to another mutually-acceptable date, when requested in writing and in good faith by the Contractor. Native seeding in the spring and fall requires good weather. The presence of adverse weather during our seeding window may result in seed having to be stored for longer periods of time.
