04/15/2024 02:00 PM EDT The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion the work shown on the Drawings and described in these Specifications including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Remove existing concrete floor topping from two clarifiers, repair concrete surfaces as determined necessary after topping removal, and install new concrete topping on clarifier floors. - The Work consists of replacement of grout within the exiting WWTP clarifiers.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price.
Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % *Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or Conditional Bids. The Work will be substantially completed on or before September 6, 2024 ; final completion- on or before September 27, 2024
WORK SEQUENCE
A. The Work shall be conducted in 2 phases.
1. Phase 1: Clarifier #1. Clarifier #2 shall remain in service during the repair of Clarifier #1. Work
for this phase shall be substantially complete and ready for occupancy within 45 calendar days
of commencement of construction.
2. Phase 2: Clarifier #2. Clarifier #1 shall remain in service during the repair of Clarifier #2. Work
for this phase shall be substantially complete and ready for occupancy within 90 calendar days
of commencement of construction.
