for the Flooring Replacement Beals Elementary, classrooms, hallways, offices, and Cafeteria, The time clock maintained by OPS District Operational Services shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding. The work required by the Contract Documents involves the removal and replacement of flooring at Beals Elementary. The full scope of the work to be performed by the Contractor is set forth in the Plans and Specifications, which are a part of the Contract Documents. The Contractor will furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary to complete the scope of work detailed in the Contract Documents. It is the Contractors responsibility to protect existing construction. In addition, daily removal of debris and repair of any damage due to work under this Contract is considered within the scope of work and is the responsibility of the Contractor. All construction debris, trash, removed materials (such as removed carpet, wall base and VCT) shall be removed from the building daily, no later than the end of each work day. At the contractors discretion, contractor can provide and maintain a portable refuse container at a location coordinated with owner for the duration of the demolition of the existing carpeting in lieu of daily removal from the property.
