Site work for a civil project in Valdosta, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
High Service Finished Water Pump Refurbishment#4 General: Preventive maintenance removal and replacement of High Service pump is required. The contractor will not disturb the pump until directed by the Water plant superintendent. The contractor will be responsible for pump I motor removals, pump buildups with new components, installations of pumps and motors, pump shaft seal replacements, and final operational checks of the pumps and motors. The City of Valdosta will coordinate electric motor pickup, repair/overhaul, and delivery by others Motor work is not included within this scope other than removal from/installation onto pump. The contractor will procure all pump components and assemble the new replacement pumps.
