Conceptual plans call for the addition of a 7,000-square-foot municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Converse County, Wyoming is requesting proposals from qualified design professionals with experience in expansion and renovation projects and programing involving public facilities, specifically Animal Shelters. The Project generally consists of the conceptual design and cost estimates for an up to 7,000 square foot facility to be located adjacent to the existing animal shelter in Douglas, Wyoming. Design shall include expansion site work, facility planning and layout, ADA accommodations, and entry and exit features. Final plans must include all necessary expansion and renovation details including structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, communication, and landscaping requirements. The Project will include three (3) bid alternates: Design of an animal enrichment area that includes repurposing bridge decking currently located on the existing property; The renovation of an existing structure into a storage building OR demolition if renovation is not cost effective; and Construction Project Management services.
