Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Huntington, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The Scope of the work includes construction of a new 12,000 SF EMS Station. The new facility will be a CMU loadbearing structure, with a brick veneer, bar joists roof structure and EPDM membrane. Site work includes a concrete parking lot, access drives and perimeter property fence. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security, including all add alternates, in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. Bid Bond form is included in Project Manual. Bidders will be required to provide a Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond each equal to one hundred percent of the Contract amount. Bonds forms are included in Project Manual. Bidders will be required to complete the work (substantial completion) within 365 days calendar days for the notice to proceed date. The Cabell County Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
