Renovation of an educational facility in Huntington, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Remove existing unit and replace with a new chiller unit. It is the intent of this contract to remove one (1) chiller in the mechanical room and one (1) remote condensing unit located on a platform outside the mechanical room and to replace those units with one (1) new air-cooled chiller at the specified location. Work shall include all associated demolition, rigging, piping, equipment, electrical equipment, controls, insulation, patching, painting, and related work as shown on the project drawings and as detailed in these specifications to provide a complete and fully operational system. Below is a summary ofwhat is needed for the chiller project. Mobilization on site Demolition ofExisting Chiller and Condensing Unit Structural reinforcement of the existing platform. Coring through mechanical room wall for new chilled water pipes Installing new air-cooled chiller Installing new piping and electrical connections. Final completion- 03/28/2025
