Question Deadline 05/10/2024 Direct all questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents to Engineer (Telephone 815-444-4439, or email shartay@baxterwoodman.com). Questions received less than five (5) business days prior to the Bid Opening, might not be answered. The proposed construction consists of the replacement of 25 lead or galvanized service lines from the water main to the curb stop and the replacement of 25 lead or galvanized service lines from the curb stop to the residence, and other miscellaneous items of work. This project will be funded by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Lead Service Line Replacement Program. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check or bank draft payable to the Village of Walworth for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. Bidders are subject to the provisions of the SDWLP Private LSL Program, including prevailing wage rate compliance with the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) requirements. Bidders shall comply with the "Use of American Iron and Steel" requirements as contained in Section 436 of H.R. 3547, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014. Bidders shall demonstrate positive efforts to utilize disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). DBE's are encouraged to submit bids for this project. This project must also comply with BABA-Build America Buy America.
