**As of May 22, 2024, the project was awarded to Rock Road Companies Inc. in the amount of $718,492.** Questions received less than five (5) business days prior to the Bid Opening. The road and drainage work under this contract shall consist of full depth asphaltic pavement replacement, aggregate base, subgrade repairs, concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway replacement, concrete sidewalks, lawn restoration, ADA accessible sidewalk ramps, storm sewer, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract. The proposed construction consists of the replacement of 910 feet of water main, 925 feet of storm sewer installation, full depth asphaltic pavement replacement, aggregate base, subgrade repairs, concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway replacement, concrete sidewalks, lawn restoration, ADA accessible sidewalk ramps on Randolph Street, between Devils Lane and Maple Avenue, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check or bank draft payable to the Village of Walworth for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. This project will be funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Safe Drinking Water Loan Program. Bidders are subject to the provisions of the SDWLP, including prevailing wage rate compliance with the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) requirements. Bidders shall comply with the "Use of American Iron and Steel" requirements as contained in Section 436 of H.R. 3547, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014. Bidders shall demonstrate positive efforts to utilize disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). DBE's are encouraged to submit bids for this project.
