Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Fort Myers, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,100-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
SCOPE OF WORK: a. The work on this contract generally consists of sitework and building construction for the approximately 9,100 SF Administration Building and the initial phase of the Gateway Commons Park improvements, which includes sport courts, a playground, a trailhead building, a restroom building, parking, walkways, landscaping, lighting, and associated site infrastructure. b. The work shall be performed in accordance with the approved construction documents. All materials and shop drawings shall be submitted for review by the Engineer of Record. c. Additional work may be requested by the DISTRICT to be performed as negotiated based on pricing provided in this bid, as well as other items deemed commensurate for the requested scope of work. The DISTRICT will require a Bid Security/Bond and a Public Construction Bond for this project. The District reserves the right, in its sole judgment in the best interest of the District, to waive any informalities in any bids; to make award(s) including multiple awards; to waive any non-substantive, in Districts sole judgment, irregularity or technicality in bids received, and/or to reject any or all bids.
