Site work for a water / sewer project in Gainesville, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) will be preforming wastewater collection upgrades to a series of facilities upstream of Lift Station #1. Lift Station #1 is located at 3311 SW 2nd Ave, Gainesville Fl 32601. In order to accommodate these improvements, the existing flow (4,500gpm) will need to be temporarily bypassed during construction. The bypass operation will consist of primary pumping, back-up pumping, 24/7 watch, pipe plugging, and a manifolded piping system that will have the ability to direct flow to each wet well of Lift Station #1. The bypassing operation is a crucial element of the project as Lift Station #1 is the largest lift station in Gainesville. TERM OF AGREEMENT The term of this Contract shall commence on the July 1, 2024 and terminate on July 1, 2027. Upon mutual agreement between Parties, this contract may be renewed for Two (2), Two Year . Beyond the extensions described above, this Contract may be extended for an additional six (6) months to allow for completion of a new solicitation.
