The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is soliciting bids from firms to furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, access, and services necessary to clean and encase thirty one 18" square concrete piles with pile encasements and structural strengthening using reinforcing steel (commonly referred to as pile jacketing). Work is to be performed on the Southbound US21 Bridge over the Beaufort River, ICCW (McTeer Bridge) in Beaufort County, SC. Encasements are intended to be a structural repair to piling with cracking, spalling, and exposed steel prestresssing strand with section loss. Work is to be performed to the satisfaction of the Department's Engineer and the Department reserves to right to add up to sixty nine additional piling. These services will be provided to SCDOT District 6 Specialized Bridge. Award will be posted on 05/03/2024 Pile Repairs US21 Beaufort County.
