DeSoto Correctional Institute Well # 6 Electrical Repairs. Bid is cancelled. Scope of Work Background: the Desoto County Utilities Department Has a Well (#6) Located at the Desoto Correctional Institute Located at 13617 S.e. Highway 70 Arcadia Florida Which is in Need of New Electrical Feeder Wire and Conduit as the System Has Failed. Scope: the Scope Includes: New Electrical Feeder Wire and Conduit Replacement From the Mcc Breaker Shed to the Well Head. The Task Will Require the Use of a Jack and Bore System to Run Underground and Avoid Any Existing Utility Line and Asphalt Drives Question Deadline 04/25/2024 1. The Estimated Length is Approximately 1300 Feet From the Mcc Shed to the Well # 6 Location. 2. The Underground Electrical Feeder Run Will Require 3 Surface Level Ground Pull Boxes. 3. The Pull Boxes Should Be Placed Approximately 300 Ft Apart in the Conduit Run. 4. The Conduit Will Be Schedule 40 Electrical Rated Underground Conduit Approximately 1300 Ft. 5. Replace Wiring, the Calculated Conductor Size Will Be 1/0 Cu.thhn With a # 4 Cu.thhn Bonding Conductor. 6. Final Conduit Landing Configuration Will Have to Be Finalized With the County System Integrator. Time Frame: All Work Shall Be Complete Within 90 Calendar Days of the Notice to Proceed. No Bid Bond or Payment and Performance Bonds Are Required for This Work
