Construction of a New Shed and Repair of the Access Road in Pakuashipi- Basse-Côte-Nord (2023-2024) The Societe des ferry du Quebec (STQ) is currently constructing a new hangar and a launching ramp in Pakuashipi to store one of its two hovercrafts. The existing boat ramps in Pakuashipi and Saint-Augustin will also be subject to repair work as part of this project. TIMELINE: Contract for consulting services to monitor construction work has been awarded via contract agreement. The specialties required for the mandate related to minor work are: o Maritime genius; o Civil engineering; o Electrical engineering. Reference number: 20001199. The contract comes into force on August 1, 2024 and ends on November 30, 2025. The supervisor must be on site from August 1 to November 30, 2024. If the work is extended, he must be on site from around June until November for the following year (2025). The work is carried out at the following location: Quebec Ferry Company, Saint-Augustin Garage (Traverse Office), Saint-Augustin (Quebec) G0G 2R0.
