Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a mixed-use development in Montebello, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
Monitoring consultant for District office window removal, FRE door removal and PHE door removal for asbestos and lead based paint. Abatement will be monitored by your CAC or CSST Environmental consultant. 1. You will monitor all work with a CSST and CAC consultant. 2. Make sure all work is to be State notified AQMD and OSHA or other. 3. Make sure all employees have current abatement credentials. 4. Make sure all labor and materials are in proper use. 5. Make sure of Proper PPE equipment to be in place during abatement. 6. Each site will be abated at different days depending on site schedule. 7. Work will take place in the afternoon hours, Saturdays and Sundays. 8. Make sure we have Containment needed to include a three stage decon. 9. Make sure of proper RCRA disposal with manifest. 10. Project is not complete until T.E.M air result has been achieved by your staff rush samples. The District is requesting bids on the three sites for small scale abatement. District office windows, PHE door removal, and FRE door removal that contain asbestos and lead based paint. Bids should include all necessary labor and equipment and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to satisfactorily complete the work as further described in the Scope of Work. Questions must be submitted to Noe Reyes, reyes_noe@montebello.k12.ca.us and are due April 15, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. This project is subject to the enforcement of the DLSE PWR Monitoring/Enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), Division of Labor Standards Enforcement Pursuant to Labor Code 1771. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code and be licensed to perform the work called for in the contract documents. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active abatement license for asbestos and lead removal valid through project completion. Proposal cost to include prevailing wages, payment & performance bonds if quote exceeds $25,000.00, and the mandatory insurance requirements per the attachment.
