The Contractor shall provide the following scope of services for Brazos River erosion mitigation. The project description and scope of work includes project management, design of bank erosion mitigation measures, H&H analysis, geotechnical and environmental investigations and construction management. Respondents will be required to show the ability to provide all the Engineering services described below. Respondent shall then provide a detailed description of how they meet the requirement, describing their knowledge and experience, as well as providing discrete examples of previous work where applicable. A sample project description and detailed Scope of Work ("SOW") provided by GLO is enclosed as Exhibit A. The engineering/surveying to be hired shall provide all application and project related engineering/surveying services, including but not limited to the following: Engineering/surveying will manage, implement, and complete the proposed infrastructure project approved for disaster recovery/mitigation funding. The selected engineering/surveying firm must follow all requirement of the TWDB. The services include, but are not limited to: 1. Project Management 2. Initial Engineering and Design Support 3. Engineering and Final Design Support 4. Contract Procurement (Bid and Award) Support 5. Contract Management and Construction Oversight 6. Specialized Services Questions regarding this RFQ must be received by the Purchasing Office on or before 3:00 (p.m.) on Tuesday, April 12, 2024. Owner Rights: It is understood that the City reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all responses to this RFQ as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES Should the Service Provider fail to complete requirements set forth in the statement of work, the City will suffer damage. The amount of damage suffered by the City is difficult, if not impossible to determine at this time. Therefore, the Service Provider agrees to pay the City, as liquidated damages, the following: If the Contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the Contractor must pay the City, as liquidated damages, $500.00 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. If the Contractor fails to submit a required report within the time specified, the Contractor must pay the City, as liquidated damages, $500.00 for each calendar day of delay until the reports are submitted and accepted. Additionally, no payment will be made for the work performed. If the Contractor fails to comply with any other terms of the contract, the Contractor must pay the City, as liquidated damages, $500.00 for each calendar day until the violation is corrected to the City's satisfaction. As of June 13, 2024, the project is currently under evaluation. An issuance of short-listed firms and result has not been released.
