The City of Sugar Land Seeks Bids for Furnishing All Labor, Material, and Equipment, and Performing All Work Required for the Following Project in the City: CIP Project Name: HVAC Chiller Installation at City Hall Location of Work: 2700 Town Center Boulevard North, Sugar Land, Tx 77479 Chiller Replacement with piping and equipment modifications. HVAC Chiller Engineered/Design Install, Chilled Water Repair and Maintenance, and Alternative Chilled Water Flushing. Contractor will be responsible for picking up the Chiller from a storage facility in Houston. Contractor is responsible for removing and disposing of the old chiller. Salvage value shall be included as a deduction from the overall cost All crane work shall be completed outside of hours M-F, 7:30a-5p. Any interruptions to building occupants such be outside of hours M-F, 7:30a-5p (ie no cooling, interruptions in electrical service, etc) Work to be performed during business hours shall be of minimum impact to occupants. All walk way paths in building shall be protected by from debris and damage. Questions regarding this bid must be received on or before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024. The City Council will award the contract as provided in the Invitation to Bid. The City of Sugar Land will give notice of the contract award within ninety (90) calendar days after the opening date and time. Substantial Completion: Contractor must achieve Substantial Completion within 30 Calendar Days from date specified in Notice to Proceed, as the time may be adjusted by Change Order Final Completion: Contractor must complete the Punch List within 14 Calendar Days from Substantial Completion
