BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: York Region Rapid Transit Corporation (YRRTC) requires a roster of pre-qualified consultants to provide professional and consulting services related to the Yonge North Subway Extension (YNSE) Project primarily focused on, but not limited to, engineering services, on behalf of the Regional Municipality of York. York Region Rapid Transit Corporation ("YRRTC") intends to conduct multiple procurements for the deliverables described in Section A of the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the "Deliverables") and has adopted the following process for procuring the Deliverables: Step 1 - Prequalification of Consultant Candidates Establish a list of prequalified Consultants who are eligible to participate in Step 2 of the process (the "Qualified Roster"). The Qualified Roster will be requested to bid on the Assignments. Step 2 - Competitive Procurement Process Invite the Qualified Roster Consultants to participate in future procurement processes for the provision of the Deliverables ("Roster Competitions") which will be issued as required. This Request for Consultant Qualifications ("RFSQ") is an invitation by The Regional Municipality of York (the "Region"), on behalf of YRRTC, to prospective respondents to participate in the procurement process outlined above.
