Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sayre, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Roadway Paving Contract: Sayre Borough will be receiving base and alternate bids for the following: BASE: Approx. 5,763 SY of milling existing asphalt surface, furnish and placing approx. 1,386 ton of 25mm Asphalt Base, and approx. 523 ton of 9.5mm Asphalt Wearing Course. ALTER- NATE: Approx. 2,334 SY of milling existing surfaces, approx. 561 tons of 25mm Asphalt Base, and approx. 211 tons of 9.5mm Asphalt Wearing Course. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders for each contract. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of worker's compensation insurance will be required within 20 days of receiving notice of being awarded the bid to each contract. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages are applicable to this project.
