Established by the Kent County Board of Commissioners and overseen by the Board of Public Works, the Department has provided solid waste management solutions for Kent Countys municipalities, businesses, and residents since the late 1960s that require ongoing environmental monitoring, treatment and remediation to ensure the protection of public health and local ecology.
