Site work and paving for a road / highway in Marengo, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Scope of Project ~ Project is on Vista Rd from Maatta Schultz Rd to Feeny Rd for a length of 10507 feet ~ Add 2800 Ton 3/4 " dense base gravel to roadway before pulverizing (approx. 2" over entire section) ~ Pulverize existing pavement/gravel to full depth ~ Final surface grading including watering and compaction ~ 5060 Tons of Asphaltic Pavement, Type 4 LT58-34S placed in two 1.75" lifts for a thickness of 3.5" compacted depth and 22 ft width to be placed and compacted ~ 2 ft gravel shoulder of 3/4" gravel placed and compacted on both side of new asphalt (1000 Tons) ~ Mill Butt Joints ~ Tack coat between layers ~ Traffic Control ~ Center Line Stripe (Epoxy paint) ~ Incidental Items ~ Project shall be complete by November 1, 2024 Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid price payable to Town of Marengo as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within the time set by the Town or the bid deposit shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond payable to Town of Marengo for one hundred (100) percent of the contract price. The Town of Marengo reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid they deem in the best interests of the Town.
